Paris is a beautiful city that attracts all sorts of people each and every year. Like most cities in Europe, there are many different types of accommodation that tourists can choose from, which we’ll look in to later in the article. Here are some of the most popular types of accommodation in Paris at the moment:

  • Hostels – If you want to save some money on your accommodation so that you can spend your money on other things then a hostel might be the right choice for you. Many hostels offer extremely cheap accommodation and let’s face it, there is so much that you can do in Paris that you’ll more than likely spend very little time wherever you’re staying in Paris! There are plenty of hostels in Paris, so whether you’re searching for the cheapest hostel or the best hostel in the city you’ll have no problem finding it. There are hundreds of hostels in Paris so it might be a good idea to research some of them to find out which ones are good and which ones are, well, not so good! If you’re thinking about staying in a hostel that’s in the centre of the city it’s recommended that you book it early since they usually get fully booked quite easily.

  • Hotels – Hotels are the most commonly used type of accommodation in Paris for obvious reasons, one of them being that most travel agents book their customers in to hotels. There are hotels for all sorts of people in Paris, so whether you’re looking for luxury accommodation or just basic cheap accommodation, you really should check out some of the hotels that Paris has to offer. Just like anything else in life, the more money that you’re willing to pay, the more you can expect from the hotel in terms of comfort, space and features (such as swimming pools and so on).

  • Camps – Camps offer a truly unique experience to anyone visiting Paris. Although most camp sites are situated a bit outside the city, public transport should be able to help you go in to the city if you want to visit the city of Paris for a while. There are many different types of camps in Paris, ranging from camps that give you your very own chalet to camps that just allow you to set up your own tent in them. The cheapest option would be to bring your own tent but this obviously won’t suit everyone! Even though these camp sites are outside the city, it really can be worth it since some camps are extremely cheap which allows just about anybody have a nice trip to Paris without breaking the bank.
